I like earn money from the internet because of its flexibility. I can work whenever and wherever I like. As long as my laptop is connected to the internet, works can be started. The earning might be very little due to limitation skill.

This few days, I am offering directory submission job in DP(DigitalPoint) Forum. I manage to earn around USD$ 20. It is another week to go. The revenue still can be increased. The money earned will be used to buy a domain name for this blog.Below is the screenshot of payment received via paypal.

Now we can save the world by having some modification with our PC(Personal Computer). Actually, it is quite simple and may be you never realise it until today. You can switch your wallpaper color to dark/black color. Did you know? An all white page uses about 74 watts to display, while an all black page uses only 59 watts. The difference of power consumption between this two setting is around 15 watts. This figure may not significant when there are only few PC. But, did you know the number of computer users in this world?

This is how my desktop look like:
Desktop View

We can cut the power consumption by decreasing the brightness of the monitor screen.
If there is UPS available, turn it off when we are not running the computer and this could cut power usage Do you still have any other tips to be shared? Please don't hestitate to leave a comment or send me a mail,greentach@gmail.com

3 Simple Ways to Get More Blog Subscriber

1 comments - Post a comment

A lot of bloggers are struggling to get royal reader for their blog. Most of the visitor will just leave after reading their article. In order to get more royal reader, you need to encourage the visitors to subscribe as a reader. There are 3 simple and effective strategies to get more blog subscriber.

Simple & Obvious
Always ask the reader to subscribe and try to make it as simple as possible. There is some blogger who unable to ask and also make it difficult to subscribe. For every page of Greentac, RSS and email subscription options is available on the right sidebar and even the top menu. The large standard RSS icon always catches the visitors’ eye. Sometime, I will add the link for RSS feed at the end of post. These may encourage them to subscribe.

Easy to Subscribe
I don’t like complicated procedure. For example, if there are too many steps are required to subscribe a newsletter, I won’t subscribe it. Therefore, try to reduce the step and the data required to complete the subscription process, and fewer people will neglect the subscription. According to MarketingExperiments.com, they have performed subscription pathway optimization testing for a free newsletter. By reducing the number of subscription steps by just one, and by limited data collection to first name and email address, the daily subscription rate went up 711%! That is impressive, right?

Ask for Subscription
Never doubt to ask the visitor to subscribe. Most of the bloggers are giving the opportunity the visitor to leave without subscribing. If you want someone to perform certain action in greater numbers than they currently are, you need to ask. This is called “call to action”.
